This course gave me the skills and confidence to setting me on my journey to leading a more sustainable lifestyle. Justin's extensive knowledge and his willingness to share this with us all has inspired me to grow more fruit and vegetables and set up my garden in a way that will not only support our household but will also provide a habitat to support native animals, birds and insects. It was also inspiring to share with the other participants and and to learn how everyone on the course was trying to grow and set up more sustainable gardens no matter how big or small their space is. This course was life-changing for me and I would definitely advise you to enrol if you are looking to improve your knowledge and grow more in your own plot.
Justin's enthusiasm and extensive knowledge are inspiring. I acquired the skills and confidence to start growing vegetables and herbs on my apartment balcony and to install and use a worm farm. I also particularly enjoyed learning about bush foods and how to encourage community supported agriculture. His introduction to permaculture principles, including the concept that there is no such thing as waste in nature, is essential in helping us all move to more resilient and sustainable lifestyles, based on local food production.
