The complete urban farmer course at CERES was so comprehensive and yet it was so much fun as well. Justin’s teaching style is fantastic and his knowledge of horticulture, permaculture, organic farming, landscape, construction and history is unsurpassed. He really has a gift and a passion for teaching and he genuinely wants you to walk away with all the skills you need to create a productive and healthy garden in an urban context. I really loved this course and felt like every topic I had wanted to learn about was covered. I really can’t fault it at all and feel confident to get started in my own garden now, and I understand why things I’ve tried haven’t worked in the past. Such an amazing course with a ridiculously fantastic teacher.
I really enjoyed this course, and now feel really informed & confident to jump.into the garden.
There is a great balance between classroom time and afternoons walking around ceres looking at practical examples in the landscape & gardens.
All tutors are a wealth of knowledge!
